I consider that my prices reflect that I have an extensive range of experience, knowledge and associated qualifications to fulfill the role of a: ‘Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency – Approved Driving Instructor’ (DVSA-ADI).
Although my prices may look the same as many other instructors who advertise their services, where I believe I differ is based upon the ‘extra’ skills and understanding that I can bring to my lessons.
I have to ‘start’ somewhere and the ‘hourly’ rate is a simple and effective means for this to be achieved. However, for those who may have never driven before, I also offer the opportunity to have the first two hours at a single fixed rate of – £30.00. Within this two hours you will learn about the vehicle and its controls, some basic information regarding the Highway Code and how to move, steer and stop the vehicle safely. Depending on the skills of the individual concerned it is not unusual, within the session for the learner to also move on to turning left and right at junctions.
In all subsequent lessons the new driver will be taught the skills required to ‘Drive’ and not only to pass the standard DVSA ‘Practical driving test’ and will include additional techniques relating to advanced/defensive driving.
I am willing to consider and offer driver training to any person who may want, or need that something a little different or extra be that, short sessions to cater for finance, health or other reason or longer sessions due to circumstances. In any event, the prices above should be seen as a ‘guide’ and, if you have any specific needs I am willing to discuss the options.
If you are not sure, give me a call or send an enquiry so that it can be discussed, what have you got to lose….
